SEMESTER

HS26

Taking the original sound of the HIL Foyer we looked at the potential of the space and implemented the pool table sounds of the floor beneath, trying to connect these two areas acoustically and making the Foyer not only a place of circulation but also a place of dwelling. The soundscape included the people walking and talking but also the elevator sounds. In between the pool table balls can be heard. In the next step we also want to work with different materials trying to work out the reverberation of the space but also include the long corridor where exhibitions and crits frequently happen.
