MY ROOM

My dorm it’s about 3 by 6 meters big and it’s mainly made out of concrete. It’s in the third floor. There is a big window on the opposite wall of the entrance and I have rooms on each side of the walls.

The main purpose of the space is to sleep and study. You can hear everything that happens outside of the room both from the window (cars, dogs barking, tram, bus, people talking, …) and from the door (people walking, talking, doors opening, closing, the hand dryer…) , but incredibly I haven’t heard anything from the walls that separate my room from the rooms that are by mine.

THE BATHROOM

The bathroom is about 8 by 2.5 meters big. It’s made of concrete floors and ceiling and tiles walls

The main purpose of this room is for people to do their necessities and to wash themselves. From the inside you can here a bit of what’s happening outside, but not as much as in the dorm. There is more reverberation and tho voice is perceived louder. Every little noise seems magnified inside this room.
